Just in time for Epiphany, miniature carnival scenes will be on display in the exhibition halls of the Franziskanermuseum. With a constantly changing lineup of Jaag figures, Villingen’s carnival festivities are brought to life on a 1:3 scale. On display are far more than just the “Narro” and “Altvillingerin,” “Butzesel,” or “Wuescht.” All the figures are arranged into lively scenes, and there is always a lively exchange of dialogue among the puppets. The entire exhibition radiates a contagious, cheerful vitality.
